"We have to allow ourselves to be loved by the people who really love us, the people who really matter. Too much of the time, we are blinded by our own pursuits of people to love us, people that don’t even matter, while all that time we waste and the people who do love us have to stand on the sidewalk and watch us beg in the streets! It’s time to put an end to this. It’s time for us to let ourselves be loved."

I need to print this out and give it to my managers so they will understand. I say this all the time to my coworkers bc they don’t get why I won’t use the men’s room at work.

Gay people are the most oblivious motherfuckers omg
“Yeah man like, I don’t even need to live in a house as long as the state will allow my partner and I to enter into this marital contract together, that’ll secure us so many benefits”what no go away people who think that marriage is more important than anything else
go awaaayyyyyyyyyyyyyy
the fact that people give no shits about homeless youth, and literally half a shit about bullying, is beyond depressing and i hate everything
it frightens me how much people care about getting married and i don’t just mean gay people either. marriage is such an odd concept to me and it’s not even necessary to life so why is it so important to so many people and why is it valued over things that are necessary to life and BEING alive
oh, I am really surprised at the priorities of a largely gay and lesbian and whitewashed financially stable HRC gala movement.
some serious bullshit right here - let’s go to the chapel and get married, we’ll just have to worry about the deaths of trans women of color some other time.
agghhh marriage equality is great but NOT at the expense of other issues!
surprisingly, some things might be more needed than marriage equality.
And this is why I want nothing to do with the LGB society.
As much as I think gay marriage is as issue it really sucks that the trans part of the LGBT don’t have basic human rights and receive the brunt of the abuse and is deemed so much less important.

Why compare yourself with others? No one in the entire world can do a better job of being you than you.

First post July 2011Taylor-Ruth makes comics about her life, the world, and the people around her. “I’ve always had a hard time with people, with school, feelings of rejection, loneliness, not fitting in… you know, the struggles all teenagers go through,” she explains. One day, she posted a comic from her personal diary, and the Tumblr community noticed. “I expected everyone to ignore the comic because it was about my life or whatever, but to my surprise it rapidly got notes. Posting the comics about my life was empowering,” she said. (Among other things, Taylor-Ruth loves thunderstorms, horror movies, spooky things, pizza, and hanging out at cemeteries.)

The Trans Youth Sexual Health booklet was produced by trans people aged 16-24 at Gendered Intelligence, in partnership with Terrence Higgins Trust. The project allowed young trans people to get together as a group and learn about sexual health, and also to discuss how to make sexual health information more relevant to trans people. As a result, a group of young people produced this information booklet, which is aimed at trans youth and their partners.
